AAPKI SADAK is a project conceived by ABLA in partnership with other independent organizations; Innovative Transport Solutions (iTrans), Oasis Design Incorporated (ODI) and Sandeep Gandhi Architects (SGA), Mriganka Saxena (HTAU). The project looks towards the improvement of neighborhood level  pedestrian and Non-Motorized Transport  (NMT) accessibility in the context of a typical urban precinct of South Delhi served by various public transit systems. It is a community engagement led project engaging residents, agencies and technical experts in a tripartite participatory approach to gain increased awareness among experts/key stakeholders regarding typical and site specific obstacles towards better pedestrian and NMT access. It envisages a fundamental transformation in the degenerating fabric of the city by reclaiming its public space and streets for the safety and convenience of the community.
