A Master plan to guide the future development of the Delhi Public School, Mathura Road was developed. A raised walkway and a tented assembly area were used as the integrating elements of the complex. Designs were developed for the thousand seat capacity auditorium over a parking bay for the schools buses. The auditorium design negotiated and integrated the existing mature trees on site, the grand stand facing the school playground and the route connecting to the primary school. The air-conditioning of the auditorium was proposed, using pre-cooled air from earth air tunnels under the playfield with an under-seat displacement ventilation system.
